Freelance Photographer Tomas Ahlberg is currently based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

In 2006-2007 he lived and worked in La Paz, Bolivia. Some of his work was shown at the annual international photo meeting in La Paz, Fotoencuentro 2007.
As part of a joint exhibit named "gente como uno" he exhibited a series of photos on a grup of La Paz homosexual "drag queens".
